Phillips Pet Food & Supplies has announced multiple promotions on its executive leadership team. These promotions demonstrate the company’s continued investment in developing a world-class leadership team to drive the organization to new heights in the future.
Nick Christensen, current chief operating officer, has been promoted to the position of president, effective immediately. Nick has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and operational excellence, and this promotion further demonstrates the pet distributor’s commitment to delivering on its promise of best-in-class service to its customers.
Since joining Phillips Pet Food & Supplies in 2021, Christensen has successfully spearheaded numerous initiatives to enhance our operational capabilities, streamline supply chain processes and improve customer satisfaction. His extensive experience in distribution has made a significant impact on the company’s overall success.

In this new role, Christensen will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, assisting with setting strategic goals, and driving growth initiatives. He will work closely with the executive team to further enhance Phillips Pet Food & Supplies’ position as a leader in the pet food and supplies industry.

Additionally, Jessica Morris, current senior vice president of marketing & merchandising, has been appointed as chief sales & marketing officer. This strategic advancement reflects her exemplary leadership, innovative vision and commitment to driving growth within the organization.
Since joining Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, Morris has played a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s marketing strategies and merchandising efforts. Her expertise in brand development and customer engagement has significantly contributed to the company’s expansion and success in a competitive marketplace.
Morris is a highly regarded thought leader in the pet industry, serves as vice-chair of the ecommerce committee for the IndiePet Retail Association, a committee member for the Pet Care Trust, and an active supporter of the Pets in the Classroom initiative. Her depth of experience and breadth of
relationships in the pet industry give her key insights into the needs of our partners on both the retail and suppliers sides of the business.
