CityVet Veterinary-Owned Network Announces Location of 3rd Austin-Area Clinic

CityVet, a network of 53 veterinarian-owned practices offering unique programs serving people through pet care with kindness for the last 25 years, has announced the grand opening of its newest location in Austin. Located at 7401 O’Connor Drive in Round Rock, Texas, the Brushy Creek clinic will officially open its doors on December 16, and will be led by Dr. Sarah Vigil.

The new clinic will offer comprehensive veterinary services, including preventive care, diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal, abdominal ultrasound, radiographs) cold laser therapy, surgical and dental procedures (including dental radiographs) for dogs and cats. Dr. Vigil will also see small mammals for wellness and minor illnesses. With a Fear Free-certified doctor, the clinic will also focus on reducing anxiety and stress for pets, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

CityVet Brushy Creek will be led and owned by Dr. Sarah Vigil, a dedicated veterinarian with 12 years of experience. She began her career as a veterinary assistant in 2007 within the northern Austin suburbs and progressed to earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2013 after studying at Ross University and Texas A&M University. Having lived and worked in the Austin area for many years, Dr. Vigil is well versed in the community and understands the needs of local pet owners.

Reflecting on her decision on choosing CityVet, Dr. Vigil shared, “CityVet provides valuable resources and expertise while giving me the freedom to operate my clinic with my own unique approach,” she explained. “Their core values align with my philosophy, especially the balance between being part of a supportive family and maintaining the autonomy to foster a solutions-focused mindset.”

Dr. Vigil emphasizes the importance of collaboration with pet owners, tailoring her approach to each pet’s unique medical history and needs.

“Every pet is different, and personalized care is key,” she said. “By working closely with owners, I can create a plan that truly makes a difference in each case.”

“We are thrilled to open our third location in the Austin area with the Brushy Creek clinic, led by Dr. Vigil,” said David Boguslawski, CityVet’s president and CEO. “Her extensive experience, Fear Free certification, and dedication to personalized care makes her an outstanding partner for this growing community.”
