A Boston hotel known for treating guests like rock stars is a hit with animals as well, according to Tripadvisor users.

The Needham-based travel site released a list of top 10 pet-friendly hotels in the U.S. on Tuesday, part of its Travelers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Hotels, and The Verb Hotel ranked No. 1.

“These spots will treat your favorite travel buddy like a VIP,” wrote Tripadvisor about the list.

Check out The Verb Hotel for a unique and enjoyable stay. Its convenient location places you near various landmarks while offering clean, spacious, and well-decorated accommodations. With a saltwater pool boasting a lovely view, you can unwind and soak up the sun. The hotel also caters to pets and has facilities for disabled guests, ensuring a comfortable experience for all. You can listen to their impressive vinyl record collection and admire the fun memorabilia throughout the property. Finally, start your day with a complimentary breakfast before exploring the nearby attractions.

Pet-friendly rooms are available for a $75 fee, according to the hotel’s website.

Another city hotel, The Godfrey Hotel Boston, ranked No. 9 on the pet-friendly hotels list (and No. 6 among the top 25 hotels in the U.S.).

Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Hotel winners are chosen based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2024. The winners are among the top one percent of the 1.6 million hotel listings on Tripadvisor.
