An All-Inclusive Luxury Dog Care Spot Arrives in Mamaroneck
Pampering isn’t just for people — dogs can get royal and red-carpet treatment, too. The Dog Stop Mamaroneck is a new all-inclusive destination for luxury dog care celebrating its grand opening on October 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 124 Palmer Avenue. This 11,000-square-foot facility will be Westchester’s first destination for luxury dog care. With over 25 locations nationwide and over 50 more Stops opening in the future, The Dog Stop is on a mission to deliver superior dog care to dogs and their families in a safe environment.
Grand Opening Day: What to Expect
Calling all Westchester dog moms and dads! Local dog families are invited to celebrate an afternoon filled with pampering and play. There will be a spa experience for dogs, a variety of games and activities, gourmet and irresistible treats, and exclusive swag bags. Guests will also be able to enjoy local food trucks, guided tours, a red-carpet photo opportunity (for owners and dogs alike!), and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
For anyone looking to add a furry friend to their family, the grand opening ceremony will also have a pet adoption station. Plus, winners of the special giveaway “Free Year of Daycare” that was created ahead of the opening will also be announced.
An Innovative Facility
The Dog Stop Mamaroneck has both indoor and outdoor space with modern amenities. It offers high-touch interactive daycare, luxury boarding, spa-level grooming, and a curated retail boutique. “As proud pet parents to Hairy and Tucker, Jonathan and I built The Dog Stop Mamaroneck to be more than just a place for dogs to stay — it’s a place where they truly thrive,” says Thumper Moyle, co-owner and operator of The Dog Stop Mamaroneck alongside co-owner Jonathan Friedman.

In addition to high-level care, The Dog Stop includes cage-free boarding suites with orthopedic Kuranda dog beds. The safe flooring and turf in the play areas are both sanitary and gentle on dog paws.
“Every detail — from one-on-one enrichment sessions tailored playgrounds to cage-free, climate-controlled boarding — has been thoughtfully crafted to mirror the attention and comfort we expect for our own dogs,” says co-owner Jonathan Friedman. Attentive “Dog Butlers” are able to personalize each dog’s experience. This kind of concierge approach helps create routines to support dogs’ emotional and physical well-being. Pet parents can also stay connected to their pups through live video access. There is also reliable pick-up and drop-off transportation available to give pet parents peace of mind.

The Dog Stop is located at 125 Palmer Avenue in Mamaroneck. Guests are invited to attend the grand opening event for a special celebration. For more information about The Dog Stop, visit their website here, or follow @tdsmamaroneck on Instagram and Facebook.
