Walk in peace, for they shall know us only by the tracks we leave.
Save the Wolf

He gazes up at the moon;
And howls for his mate,
While hunters, and trappers,
Decide on his fate.
This wolf is shy, and misunderstood;
He's labeled as evil, and up to no good.
But, in order for him, and his pack to survive,
He must kill his prey to keep this family alive.
He has a mate, and five pups;
Close-by in a den,
These cute little ones,
Are depending on him
He stalks a deer, an elk, or a moose;
And once in a while, and occasional goose.
He might stalk a rabbit, or even a hen,
Then he takes it all back, to his pups in the den.
So please understand;
He has a family to feed,
He doesn't kill out of spite,
He kills out of need.
These wolves are endangered;
Extinction they face,
Without the love, and protection,
Of the whole human race.
Let's help preserve the Wolves:
